Trivia enthusiasts of all levels are welcome to join in on the fun! Team Details: Team Size: 2 to 5 players Entry Fee: Absolutely free! Prizes: Exciting prizes will be awarded to the top teams of the evening. Show off your trivia prowess and take home some fantastic rewards!

The mic opens at 8 PM and runs till midnight. No judgment, no pressure—just a good time with good people. Come solo, bring friends, sing once or sing all night.

We are thrilled to host Open RPG days every Saturday Night!

Calling all RPG enthusiasts! We are on the lookout for skilled Game Masters who specialize in running games such as D&D, Pathfinder, Shadowdark, DCC, Knave, and DC20.

Of course, we are eager to welcome players who are keen to join in the fun as well!

Whether you're a seasoned veteran or new to the world of RPGs, we want to hear from you. Let's make Nirvana another great destination for all role-playing aficionados!

Come join the Chess Club of Independence every Monday evening at Nirvana for a night of strategy, skill, and friendly competition. From 6 PM to 10 PM, players of all levels are welcome to take part in weekly meetups filled with engaging matches and good company. Whether you're a seasoned player or just learning the ropes, Chess Night at Nirvana is the perfect way to kick off your week with some classic board game action. Bring your thinking cap and join the fun!

Every Tuesday

Join us for some nerdy fiber art every Tuesday! We've got an awesome group of folks who come and swap patterns, tales, and simply hang out and enjoy making some magic with like minded people! This is a bring your own supplies type event. If there is something you are knitting, crocheting or sewing, bring it along and socialize with fellow fiber artists every Tuesday at Nirvana. This weekly event has no-cover, but we encourage you to make a purchase from Nirvana Coffee and Games while you are visiting to help keep our business running!

Are you ready for more live music at Nirvana? On August 9th at 6PM to 9PM, Jason Vivone & The Billy Bats are back! Composer, multi-instrumentalist and vocalist Jason Vivone is one of the most prominent and influential figures in Kansas City blues and roots music. With his band The Billy Bats, they provide a party of American music influences – blues, soul, gospel, medicine show music, and country. We have a wide selection of food options available or grab a cocktail and stay for a while to listen to some tunes!
