Monthly on every second Sunday

Join us for a lovely afternoon of jazz with J&O Combo at 11AM to 1PM. The J & O Combo are a sax and bass jazz duo in the KC area. Both having recently graduated from Wichita State, they have made their new home in the Kansas City metro and specialize in jazz standards and originals. Have brunch with us! We have a wide selection of food options available or grab a coffee from our summer menu and stay for a while to listen to some pleasant tunes!

Monthly on every second Wednesday

Join us at Nirvana every 2nd and 4th Wednesday of the month from 6 PM - 10 PM for Blood on the Clocktower.  Blood on the Clocktower is a social deduction party game where players take on secret roles in a town haunted by an evil demon. One player is the demon, secretly trying to kill off townsfolk, while others are villagers trying to find and execute the demon before it's too late. The game is moderated by a storyteller who guides the action and manages special powers and abilities that each role might have. It's like Werewolf or Mafia, but with more complex roles, no player elimination until the end, and lots of bluffing and strategy.  This event is limited to 20 people and is on a first come, first served basis. We hope to see you there! - https://bloodontheclocktowernirvana26.eventbrite.com

Every Wednesday

Join Euchre club every Wednesday night at 6PM. Euchre is a fast-paced trick-taking card game for four players in two partnerships, using a 24-card deck (9s through Aces). The goal is to win at least three of five tricks to score points, with the first team to 10 points winning. A trump suit is determined, and the highest card of that suit wins, with the Jack of trumps (Right Bower) and Jack of the same color (Left Bower) being the most powerful cards. Join an open group, make new friends and lets play Euchre!

Every Thursday

Your playlist obsession is finally useful. Critical Hits Music Bingo is taking over Nirvana Coffee & Games for three rounds of bangers, questionable singing, friendly competition, and prizes. We play the songs, you find them on your card, and suddenly all those years spent memorizing lyrics instead of important information feel completely justified. Each round has its own prize, plus mini-games between rounds that can earn you an advantage in the next round or at the following week’s game. Think of them as legally sanctioned power-ups. No trivia expertise required. No singing required. Just listen, mark your card, and try not to yell “BINGO!” before checking your work. Bring your friends, grab a drink, and turn your music knowledge into a Critical Hit. All ages and generations are welcome, because great songs never fail their saving throw. Hosted by Crit and Ale

Every Friday

Kick off your weekend with a little friendly competition and a lot of fun at Friday Night Trivia at Nirvana Coffee & Games. Gather your smartest friends (or come solo and make new ones) and test your knowledge across a variety of rotating categories. Expect a lively, welcoming atmosphere where teamwork, clever thinking, and a sense of humor are just as important as knowing the right answers. Whether you’re a seasoned trivia champ or just here for the vibes, Friday Night Trivia is designed to be low-pressure, high-fun, and perfect for unwinding after a long week. Grab a drink, settle in, and see how you stack up as the questions get tougher and the laughs get louder. Prizes, bragging rights, and a great night out await. Come early, get comfy, and let’s make your Friday night a smart one. Hosted by Crit and Ale
