End the week on a high note with Karaoke Night at Nirvana. Whether you’re belting out a go-to classic or testing the waters with something new, it’s all about having fun and enjoying the crowd.

The mic opens at 8 PM and runs till midnight. No judgment, no pressure—just a good time with good people. Come solo, bring friends, sing once or sing all night.

We are thrilled to host Open RPG days every Saturday Night!

Calling all RPG enthusiasts! We are on the lookout for skilled Game Masters who specialize in running games such as D&D, Pathfinder, Shadowdark, DCC, Knave, and DC20.

Of course, we are eager to welcome players who are keen to join in the fun as well!

Whether you're a seasoned veteran or new to the world of RPGs, we want to hear from you. Let's make Nirvana another great destination for all role-playing aficionados!

All are welcome to join in on the fun! We simply ask that participants try and maintain a mentality that is conducive with the following:

Join us for a welcoming night of creativity, courage, and connection. All styles, all voices, all experience levels welcome. Come share your work—or just come listen and support your local talent.

JOIN US FOR THE B.Y.O.C. CRAFT SUPPLY EXCHANGE! On July 20th, bring clean/unused craft supplies to leave on the supply table and swap them out with things you will use! This is a free swap, just come out and hang out! --- B.Y.O.C means Bring Your Own Crafts! Join us every Sunday night at 2PM - 5PM and socialize with other creators, artists and crafty people. Art you a knitter? Do you crochet? Drawing? Papercrafts? Whatever! Have a project that you need to finish? Bring it over and join us for this weekly social circle. This is a FREE social event, all we ask is that you help keep our space clean when you finish, throw all your scraps away and cover any surface if you have any projects involving liquids/paint. Don't have a craft? There will be colored pencils and coloring sheets available in limited supply.

B.Y.O.C means Bring Your Own Crafts! Join us every Sunday at 2PM - 5PM and socialize with other creators, artists and crafty people.

Come join the Chess Club of Independence every Monday evening at Nirvana for a night of strategy, skill, and friendly competition. From 6 PM to 10 PM, players of all levels are welcome to take part in weekly meetups filled with engaging matches and good company. Whether you're a seasoned player or just learning the ropes, Chess Night at Nirvana is the perfect way to kick off your week with some classic board game action. Bring your thinking cap and join the fun!

Every Tuesday

Join us for some nerdy fiber art every Tuesday! We've got an awesome group of folks who come and swap patterns, tales, and simply hang out and enjoy making some magic with like minded people! This is a bring your own supplies type event. If there is something you are knitting, crocheting or sewing, bring it along and socialize with fellow fiber artists every Tuesday at Nirvana. This weekly event has no-cover, but we encourage you to make a purchase from Nirvana Coffee and Games while you are visiting to help keep our business running!

Thursdays every 2 weeks

Join us for a relaxed evening of dark tales and good company. Whether you're deep in the politics of a Vampire LARP, wandering the Hedge as a Lost Changeling, or just curious about the World of Darkness, this is your chance to hang out with other players, meet the Storytellers behind our ongoing games, or unwind with a board game in good company.

Get ready to sew your own creation using parts and pieces from other creatures at the Nirvana Coffee & Games with OmniFeral! You'll dig into a large pile of stuffed animals in different sizes, shapes and colors to make your perfect critter. Cut apart various stuffed animals for parts and pieces, then sew them back together however you'd like! Keep in mind that this is a hand sewing workshop, I will not have a machine available. Socialize with fellow monster makers in this 4 hour event, please arrive before 1PM to allow yourself the full time to craft. All supplies will be provided: sewing kits, seam rippers, scissors, thread, thimbles, hot glue, buttons, etc. but feel free to bring things of your own to attach to your creations. If you have a stuffed animal you'd like to take from, you are welcome to bring them as well!
